We collect and store Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you push notifications. These notifications may include:
Your FCM token is a unique device identifier that allows us to send notifications to your specific device. This token does not contain any personal information about you. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app. Disabling notifications will not affect your ability to use the app's core features. When you log out or delete your account, your FCM token is removed from our servers.
Our app uses artificial intelligence to analyze meal photographs and estimate their calorie and nutrient content. When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to OpenAI, our AI service provider, which processes it solely to return the nutrition analysis to us. OpenAI acts as our processor and, under its API terms, does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. We do not send your name or contact details with the image. The photo and the resulting analysis are stored in our database and associated with your account for tracking purposes, and are deleted when you delete your account.
Calc Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Purchases are handled by Google Play. We receive and store the information needed to verify your purchase and provide access (such as the plan, order identifier, purchase status, trial status and renewal or expiry dates). The app does not show advertisements.
We store your personal information and meal images in secure databases. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users can permanently delete their account and all associated data at any time from within the Calc – AI Calorie Tracker app by going to Settings → Delete Account. Once the deletion request is confirmed, all personal information, including profile details (such as gender, age, height, weight, and fitness goals) and uploaded meal images, will be permanently removed from our servers within 7 days.If you experience any issues with in-app deletion, you may also request manual deletion by emailing admin@devtine.com with your username. After your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Subscription payments are processed by Google Play. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. All payment processing is handled by these third-party payment providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies and security standards.
