By downloading, installing, or using Calc - AI Calorie Tracker, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our application.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Calc - AI Calorie Tracker mobile application ("App," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account and using our App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
To use Calc, you must create an account by providing a username. You are responsible for:
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.

We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.
Meal tracking with AI photo analysis requires a Calc Premium subscription. We offer monthly and yearly plans that provide:
Current prices are shown in the App and in Google Play before you subscribe (at the time of writing US$7.99 per month or US$71.88 per year; local prices may differ).
Eligible new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel in Google Play before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you will be charged for the plan you selected. Trial eligibility is determined by Google Play and is limited to one trial per user. Some existing accounts may have a limited number of complimentary free scans; these have no cash value and are non-transferable.
Subscription payments are processed by Google Play. By subscribing, you authorize Google Play to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan. Prices are subject to change with prior notice as required by Google Play.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period.
Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies. We do not directly process refunds. Please contact Google Play for refund requests, or email us if you need help.
You retain ownership of all meal photographs and data you submit to the App. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the Service, including sending meal photos to our AI service provider (OpenAI) for nutrition analysis.

The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our App without our prior written consent.
Our AI-powered calorie recognition is designed to provide estimates based on visual analysis by a third-party AI model (OpenAI). While we strive for accuracy, calorie calculations may not be 100% precise. Results can vary based on image quality, lighting, portion sizes, and food preparation methods.
Calc is a tracking tool and does not provide medical advice. The calorie recommendations and BMI calculations are for informational purposes only. Always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any diet or fitness program.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Calc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
Our App may contain links to third-party websites or services (including payment processors and AI service providers) that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party services.
You may delete your account at any time in the App under Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing admin@devtine.com with your username. When you delete your account we ask Google Play to stop renewing its subscription, so no further charges are made; you can confirm this under Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Calc regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
